The ATEX-certified Ascom d83 EX

The d83 EX variant is ATEC-, IECEx, CSA and UK Ex-certified as intrinsically safe in explosive atmospheres with potentially hazardous flammable gases, dusts, or vapors. Its dedicated EX housing, together with the exceptionally rugged and sealed handset design, ensures no electrical or thermal energy is released that could ignite a hazardous atmosphere—even in a fault scenario. Combined with DECT’s renowned reliability, the d83 EX is ideal for chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, mines, mills, storage units, and other industrial workplaces.
